We offer you option of resale and consignment!
We are currently accepting the following items:
- New or gently used designer maternity clothing*
- New or gently used designer nursing clothing*
- New or gently used stylish baby clothing (up to 24 months)**
*We do not accept undergarments, hosiery or swimwear; we do not accept the following maternity brands: Liz Lange for Target, Gap, Old Navy, Motherhood, JCPenny, Sears, or other large chain or discount labels
**We do not accept Gap, Old Navy, Target, Gymboree, JCPenny, Children's Place, or other large chain or discount baby clothing labels
- Clothing must be considered in current fashion and in excellent condition to be considered. This means no stains, tears, odors, pilling, etc.
- Clothing must be either dry cleaned or laundered and pressed, preferably with unscented detergent. Leave original tags on if available.
- E-mail us a list of items you would like to sell or consign, along with descriptions and photos if possible. We will e-mail you instructions on where to ship them to, along with agreement form.
- Mail your items and agreement form to us. Note that any original tags or sales receipts help us set pricing.
- We will review your items, and for items that are selected, take professional photos, and post them on our website.
- The approximate months when we take items for each season are as follows; we will accept off-season items and adjust the consignment period accordingly.
Spring: December-March
Summer: March-June
Fall: June-September
Winter: September-December
- SHIPPING: You are responsible for shipping to and from It's A Miracle. We will reimburse you for up to $10.00 for inbound merchandise shipping only from your items we select for resale, or from what we sell on consignment. Please include your shipping receipt in the package with your items. You will be reimbursed in conjunction with scheduled payments. Should some of the items you send not be acceptable, the return postage amount will be deducted from your sales of what is accepted. If we do not accept any of your items, or your items do not sell on consignment, you are responsible inbound & return shipping costs.
- We reserve the right to set the selling price for all merchandise at our discretion and markdown your merchandise at any time for promotions or sales.
- Note that our charity donation does not come from your portion of the sale unless you choose to donate your portion to maternal health charities we support.
RESALE
- We pay you based on season, label and supply/demand
- We start our prices at 50% off original retail price
- We pay you 35% of the price we sell it for via check, mailed to you within 5 business days of when we select your items.
- Items we don't pick will be mailed back to you, or you can donate them where your proceeds of sale goes to maternal health programs we support
CONSIGNMENT
Choose consignment if you would like to make more money. We offer you 50% of the price we sell it for!
- We select items based on season, label and supply/demand
- We start our prices at 50% off original retail price
- You will receive 50% of the actual selling price of your merchandise (less tax if purchase is made in VA).
- General pricing schedule is as follows:
FULL PRICE: Month 1
25% OFF: Month 2
50% OFF: Month 3
- For items we consign that are sold, you will receive a check for sold items on the 15th of every month (for example, you will receive a check for items sold in January on February 15th). Should the 15th fall on a weekend or Holiday, checks will be sent on the next business day.
- After the 90 days, unsold items will be returned to you or you can donate proceeds from the markdown sales to the maternal health charities we support.
- After the 90 day consignment period, we will return the items to you within 5 business days. If we can not reach you during this time, we reserve the right to donate the items to charity or price to sell the items, with percentage of sales donated to charities we support.
DONATE
Would you like to donate your maternity, nursing or baby clothing to help pregnant women in poor countries of the world? Sales from your merchandise will be donated to the maternal health charities we support. You can choose DONATION in your consignor form.
